Using Photographs in Blogger

Using the Blogger system:

Generally I will upload from a local file on my computer using the Blogger menu system. This will put a large(ish) image in the Blogger archive. The full size image will be on my computer and compressed image(s) in the google archive. Usually upload extra-large. Once it is in the archive other sizes of the image can be uploaded from the archive and will be suitably compressed.

Photos could be stored here: photos.google.com (up to 15GB) and uploaded from there using the dialoue boxes described below. This also shows how much of the 15GB storage has been used. Photos may be stored at less than original quality.

Images uploaded directly from the computer are stored in the google album archive:
https://get.google.com/albumarchive/108982551570455903896 - (look in photos from blogger)
Or google 'google album archive' with blogger open.

Broadstones, Gilstead, Bingley

Sample text. Life began for me here in 1953. Broadstones was a sort of caravan/chalet park owned by Harry Haddock and his wife. It was a ramshackle sort of place with the 'holiday homes' including old trams and glorified garden sheds. At first we lived in one of the 'chalets', but soon moved into the flat in the big white house where Mr and Mrs Haddock lived. I assume the flat was rented. My dad was Works Engineer at Baird Television, so we were one of the few families with a T.V. It was powered by a basement full of submarine batteries that my dad had acquired from somewhere. Today Broadstones Park is a smart residential site with park homes.
