Broadstones, 40 Myrtle Avenue, 4 Beech Grove and 22 Otley Rd were places where I lived. My dad also lived at 44 Myrtle Avenue as a child.
I went to Myrtle Park Primary School, as did my brothers, Michael and Kenneth. My dad also went there when it was an all age school.
Michael did 5 years at Bingley Grammar School before we moved to Middlesbrough. I did first year only.
Bingley College of Education closed in 1979. I did my one year PGCE course there, starting in 1974.
Rose Cottage was the lovely, one bedroomed cottage where my Auntie Annie and Uncle Bill lived. It had an indoor toilet, but no bath or shower.
Holy Trinity Church. What a choir it was.
